La Remuda, which translates roughly as a herd of horses, is
centrally located just off St. Francis Drive. Built in two phases,
the first embodies passive solar design principles and other
sustainable building practices. The second phase, completed
in 2003, continues the tradition while expanding on the
community “village” concept.
